Our First Event

Our Very Epic First Event!, Sun, Nov 13 2022

Kids made oobleck at our first event and learned about Non-Newtonian Fluids!!

On Sunday, 3/13/22, Scientail had our first event and it was a huge success. Bond Park graciously let us use their boathouse for our event. The kids made oobleck and learned about non newtonian fluids and viscosity while having a ton of fun! We loved seeing them happily making oobleck in many different colors. Even though we had multiple challenges during the event (such as Arbor Day going on at the same time) we still pushed through and conducted an epic event. We gained a lot of experience from this event and we also got a ton of feedback from parents which will help us improve our events in many ways. We had 7 kids attend this event and we hope to have more in our future events. We’re also very excited for our next event, which will take place on March 27th and the kids will be making ice cream in a bag while learning about matter and all the fun things we can do with it!

Who is Kriti?

Hey, I’m Kriti and I enjoy learning about STEM. I’m excited to help kids who are also interested in STEM that don’t have the resources to fulfill their interests.
