In this event, we will create our own little model of the solar system by scaling distances between the planets! We will also take a little tour and learn about each planet and dwarf planet in the solar system.

We will learn about basic astronomy, including some notable astronomers, and take a tour through all the planets and dwarf planets in our solar system. We'll also learn about scaling, and understand the distances between the planets in our solar system.

This event is aimed towards 2nd-4th graders.

We will require masks for all participants in this event and make sure all materials are sanitized before they are used. We will also do our best to maintain social distancing between participants and the instructors as well during the event.
